HOCKEY: Czech Extraliga
Literally different worlds are pitted against each other. While Zlin have embarked on the darkest path in the form of saving fights, which seems to be more and more actual, Sparta are traditionally looking for the highest goals. The success in the Champions League gave the guests the necessary oxygen , but it is still necessary to collect points in the top league. For this reason I believe that they will not underrate their opponent.
Zlin is struggling and sinking at the bottom of the table. In 13 games played, they have only 5 points and it doesn't look good at all. They failed to win a single game in regulation time, only one in overtime. The score is 23:48, which is almost 4 goals scored per game. Half of the squad is not up to the standards of Extraliga. It's especially bad up front. Only Vitkovice has a worse offense, but that's logical, because Vitkovice played 4 less games. They made some coaching changes, but I don't think they will lead anywhere in the end. Zlin will have a tough time in this game and in the whole season.
Sparta Prague have a quality team that has the highest goals every year, but winning the title is still eluding them. They are currently in 5th place with 22 points. They are 5 points behind the first place and have two games to play. The mentioned success in the Champions League shouldn't be that much of an effect , as the squad was slightly cut and some of the key players were given rest.
Sparta, on the other hand, does not miss money. The big reinforcements are mainly 4 players who come from abroad. Moravčík and Chlapík from Finland, David Kaše from overseas and Swede Erik Thorell from Switzerland. Basically every Sparta formation has very good quality.
H2H:
Zlin 2:4 Sparta (2021)
Sparta 10:0 Zlin (2020)
Zlin 4:6 Sparta (2020)
Sparta 3:0 Zlin (2020)
Sparta 5:1 Zlin (2020)
My bet:
Asian Handicap: Sparta Prague -1.5 @ 1.95 (bet365)
