Both teams came up empty in their first group match. Two weeks ago, each of them presented themselves differently. Zenit troubled Chelsea (0:1) for a long time on their pitch before Belgian tank Lukaku scored in the 69th minute. Otherwise, the Russian champion didn't allow much to the defending champion (2 shots on target) and were dangerous in their attacking runs.
They are doing well in the Russian league, they are in 1st place (23 points - 21:10) after 9 games played and have a score of 7 wins, 2 draws and 0 losses!
Zenit will be looking to grab their first Champions League win and they have the weakest opponent in the group against them and that is Malmö. Zenit can rely on a lot of quality players like Erokhin Aleksandr, who has 5 goals. Another quality player is Azmoun Sardar, who also has 5 goals. Other players, for example, are Dzyuba Artem and the Brazilian Malcom.

Anyway, there is no big offensive danger from the guests. Malmö has made it through to the Champions League group stage, which is already a mega-success for them, but they are significantly behind in the confrontation with the European top teams. They lost 0:3 at home to Juventus and lost for the fourth time in a row in the group with a score of 0:20! In St. Petersburg, the visitors will be significantly weakened, missing five injured players and the start of three others is doubtful.

Zenit St. Petersburg definitely deserves to get their first 3 points at home and I believe they will get them.

Both Zenit and Malmo will view this fixture as a must-win game if they are to have any chance of progressing to the knockout stages.

The hosts are the strong favourites to come out on top at the Krestovsky Stadium, and i feel they should have few problems in securing a routine victory.

I will try my favourite corner kicks bet again here! Zenit at home will be very strong side and I expect them to take more control in this game, I expect them to get corners from many chances. Mamö on the other side is used to play attacking football in their league and they carry it to the UEFA Champions League which is killing them in the end, but from their football, they get many corner kicks and this is not Juventus but Zenit, so I expect them to create more chances then two weeks ago.
