WTA - SINGLES: Adelaide (Australia) - Qualification, hard - Semi-finals
This match will offer us a duel between American tennis player Caty McNally (142) and Daria Saville (419) from Australia.
McNally is a 20-year-old tennis player and her highest ranking was 105th (September 2019). She has had a pretty average season (25/24) and did best on the hard in Guadalajara, Mexico, where she played a quarterfinal.
Saville (formerly Gavrilova) is a 27-year-old player with a maximum ranking of 20th in the world (August 2017). She has often been plagued by health problems in recent seasons. After last year's Australian Open, she underwent an Achilles surgery and only appeared on the courts in November in Prague, where she helped with a point against Belgium's Minnen in a Billie Jean King Cup match.
In this match, the American player is a slight favourite for me. Saville is more experienced and has the home advantage. However, she has played a bare minimum of matches recently and the American didn't do too badly towards the end of last season.
Caty McNally to win @ 1.84
