Europa League
West Ham enjoyed a great start to the Europa League. West Ham are the clear favourite in the group, which was only confirmed by the opening two games. They have two calm wins over Vienna Rapid 2:0 and 0:2 in Zagreb. Both games were controlled and interestingly, only one shot was on West Ham's goal.
The home team will be missing Ryan Fredericks and Czech player Vladimir Coufal is also questionable. While Mark Noble should be available even though he missed the weekend game. Another Czech player, Alex Kral, will also not play as he tested positive for the coronavirus.
Genk are like on a swing this season and I would say they are not in optimal form at the moment. They won their first game against Rapid Vienna, but after that they were beaten 0:3 by Dinamo Zagreb. In the league, the last 2 games they lost and it's not an ideal tune up for the European cups.
The visitors will be without defender Daniel Munoz, who is suspended from the previous game against Dinamo Zagreb. Outside of him, Genk have no other "excused" players and manager John van den Brom hopes to field the best eleven he can to get the team back on a winning streak.
For me, it's West Ham. Their team is still very strong of good quality despite the bigger injury list. Genk, on the other hand, are currently without form.
My bet:
Asian Handicap: West Ham -1.5 @ 1.92 (bet365)
