SOUTH AMERICA: World Cup - Qualification - Round 11
Looking purely at Uruguay's results, it looks very good. However, on the field, it hasn't been such a great. Uruguay managed a 1-0 win against Ecuador in their last game, but they only sent one shot on target in the whole game. A win against a weak Bolivia was a must, but here we are again with a match against Peru. The result ended in a 1-1 draw, but Peru was the better team in the match. Uruguay simply didn't convince me enough of their qualities.
Colombia, on the other hand, played great in the last qualifying matches. They managed to win against a strong Chile 3:1. However, they also lost points. Like, for example, in the second-to-last match on Paraguay's soil. Even though Colombia clearly dominated the match, unfortunately for them, they couldn't bring the match to a winning end (1:1). Thanks to this loss, Colombia is currently in 5th place. They are only 2 points away from 6th place (i.e. not advancing). Colombia has a very strong squad. Their game performances were good.
I believe, Colombia will definitely not lose this match.
My prediction: Double Chance: Draw or Colombia @ 1.72 (bet365)
