Premier League
The visiting team will be the Devils from Manchester. So this team is far from the Devils as we knew them (unfortunately for several years now) and I don't see anything that will bring this team close to that. But one thing cannot be denied to this whole. That is quality on paper, because most of the leading European teams do not have such names on their roster. Especially if we're talking about the attacking phase. Unfortunately, there is also the defensive side, where this team is tragic.
Despite three losses in the last four league games and unconvincing defensive performances (Manchester City 0-2, Liverpool 0-5, Leicester 2-4), coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still on the bench. It is clear that this time he has to repeat his last trip to London (Tottenham 3-0), otherwise nothing will help him.
Cristiano Ronaldo and co. are facing Watford, who have lost 12 of their last 14 matches and United are their least favourite opponent of all in that aspect. Watford have failed to score in seven games (out of 11) this season, the worst record in the league, and they have conceded at least once in their last 21 (including previous spells among the elite).
The home team has only 10 points from 11 games and has already become one of the candidates for relegation. Fortunately for the "newcomer", it looks like more teams will be fighting for these positions this season. Of course, it is too early to speculate on this. The management of team did not hesitate to change the coach after 7 rounds, when the "unsuccessful" Xisco was replaced by the experienced Claudio Ranieri, who is not doing well on the bench.
Quality is definitely on the side of the visiting team in this match and this team will not find many worse opponents in the competition. Despite the poor form, 3 points should be a must for MU.
My bet:
Asian Handicap: Manchester United -1.0 @ 1.85 (bet365)
