New York went through a bigger change of squad over the summer, especially because of Washington. For those not in the know, before the end of last season, Tom Wilson, a Capitals player, took down the team's biggest stars (Bunchevich, Panarin) and there was no one in NYR to defend them. So it was thanks to Wilson that a new big rivalry between the teams from the capital and New York was born.
According to the Rangers, there was no adequate penalty from the disciplinary committee, and NYR started to attack the league management, appeal and demand justice, which probably only resulted in the removal of the management of the New York club.
And so NYR brought in heavyweights over the summer, including Ryan Reaves, who has a long-standing rivalry with Wilson, they don't like each other. However, according to the Oh My Hockey blog, New York team has become the toughest team in the league, which suggests a lot.
Well, today it will be hockey full of emotions, which will not avoid penalty minutes.
