Thanks to their still recent triumph in the Europa League, Villarreal are playing in the Champions League this season, where they have four points after three rounds and are hoping to qualify for the next stage. They managed to take points from Atalanta, then came the defeat against United, but they only got a goal in injury time - very unlucky. In their last game they managed to beat YB Bern 4-1 away.
But in LaLiga, it seems as if the busy schedule and the short summer break is taking its toll on coach Emery's squad. Villarreal managed to win only two of their nine games (2-5-2) and are only 13th. It is already seven points short of the cup positions, which was the pre-season goal, so it is time to work hard.
Against Cadiz, who are even worse off in the table (17th place, 1-4-5 score), Villarreal can't ask for anything but three points. Especially since they have never lost to Cadiz (5-3-0) and the visitors are currently five games away from winning a competitive match.

So, for me, "yellow submarines". They are the better team and they have to pull this game off at all costs and get the much needed 3 points.

What an incredible game. Villarreal have some serious woodoo over them this season, they've played well in most matches but can't seem to take their chances and concede cheap goals.
