27.09.21 - 20:45 CET
FRANCE: Ligue 2
Toulouse are starting their second season in Ligue 2 and this time they're on their way to promotion so far. In nine games, they have a 7-2-0 and a 20-6 score.
They drew with (4)AC Ajaccio in the 1st round and 1-1 away to (5)Le Havre. They won their last two games at home 4-1 against (15)Grenoble and won 2-0 at the ground of second to last Dunkerque. They also beat (16)Bastia 1-0 at home and (12)Valenciennes by the same score.
After nine rounds, Caen is in 13th place with 11 points and a 9:8 score. They have made a good start to the league, winning three of their first four games.
They beat 4-0 at home (10)Rodez, 1-0 away to (8)Niort and 1-0 away to (20)Nancy. However, they have only two draws and a 2:6 score in their last five games, for example, they lost 2:0 at (4)AC Ajaccio, which is pretty similar to Toulouse with the home team (Toulouse) scoring 8 more goals.
- Toulouse scored 20 goals, 10 of which were scored by strikers Rhys Healey (5) and Ado Onaiwu (5)
- Caen scored 9 goals, 6 of which were scored by Alexandre Mendy. For me, it's not quite ok to rely on a single goal scorer.
H2H: Last season
Toulouse 3:0 Caen
Caen 2:2 Toulouse
My bet:
Asian Handicap: Toulouse -1.0 @ 1.92 (bet365)
