Tottenham took advantage of the break afforded by the postponement of this weekend's fixture at Burnley to repair their reputation after last week's unexpected cup defeat in Slovenia in Thursday's home game against Brentford. The 2-0 win also meant that under coach Conte, Spurs have won all three of their home competitive games so far and have scored at least two goals each time, which has not been a given at all with their recent goal scoring misery. The home fans are expecting another success in quick succession, as a newcomer fighting for survival heads to their stadium this time.
Norwich have scored ten points in the opening 14 rounds, which may not be dazzling, but they have taken eight of them in the last four rounds. Thus, with new coach Dean Smith, they have not lost even once (1-2-0), and if its relegation was not in question a month ago, suddenly there is talk again that survival may not be such an impossible goal for this newcomer to the competition. But Norwich must add up front, for their eight goals scored are still by a large margin the fewest of all. But they have scored in four of its past five appearances and the visitors will scores again here.
H2H:
Tottenham 1:2 Norwich (After penalty shootout - FA Cup 1/8-finals)
Tottenham 2:1 Norwich
Norwich 2:2 Tottenham
My bet:
Both Teams to Score - Yes @ 2.10 (bet365)
