Premier League
Tottenham plays Aston Villa at home in the next league round and is a slight favourite according to the bookies. Well, I don't know if that's really the truth because Tottenham have been out of form in the league in recent weeks. Tottenham have a dream start to the league. 3 games and a full 9 points and even a win over Manchester City (1:0). But then it came, 0-3 at Crystal Palace, 0-3 with Chelsea and 1-3 at Arsenal. So in the last 3 league games Tottenham have always conceded 3 goals, but that's actually only good for this bet. Tottenham were in quite a good mood during the week though, winning 5-1 at home against Mura in the ECL. Goalscorer Harry Kane went on for the last 30 minutes and still scored 3 goals.
Spurs have a good attack in my opinion, which consists of Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son and Brazilian striker Lucas is back from injury. The defence is not so good anymore. Spurs are conceding a lot. The defensive duo of Davinson Sanchez and Eric Dier is not quite working to Nuno Espirito Santos' liking. This Portuguese coach has been switching his defenders quite often, trying new options, but it's hard to say if he has managed to find the best one.
Aston Villa have made a relatively good start to the new season. With a score of 3-1-2 and 10 points, they are eighth in the table. After six games, Villa have a score of 9:7, which corresponds to 2.6 goals per game. They present a 3-5-2 formation, which is a very attacking formation in itself.
In Aston Villa's previous league games, they have also been very good (average of 2.7 goals) and their form is really good, because last time Aston Villa won at Manchester United 1-0 and before that they won at home 3-0 against Everton.
H2H:
Tottenham 1:2 Villa
Villa 0:2 Tottenham
Villa 2:3 Tottenham
Tottenham 3:1 Villa
My bet:
Over 2.5 Goals @ 2.0 (bet365)
