ITALY: Serie A - Round 1
After a long period of Juventus domination, Inter won the title. They walked to the title with a 12-point lead over second-placed AC Milan. Atalanta Bergamo finished in third place, with Juventus right behind with the same number of points. Atalanta Bergamo, along with Juventus and Inter, are the main aspirants for the title. Sure, it's only the first round, but this entry into the league means quite a lot, especially mentally.
Torino is one of the weaker half of the league. Considering that Torino rescued themselves from last non-relegation, 17th place. Torino's main goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu leaves for Genoa.
