Time to kick-off our "goals over" bets in the AHL
There is only one AHL match during the night and when I saw the odds for over I needed to give it a try. The affiliate of NHL's Dallas Stars, Texas Stars will face Rockford IceHogs, the affiliate of Chicago Blackhawks.
The visitors are not in good mood, they have lost all 4 opening matches where all of them went over 5,5 goals. Mood in the whole organization is not good as Chicago Blackhawks have also 0 wins from 7 matches, plus recently the main articles are not about hockey, but about sexual abuse scandal from 2010 that has been re-opened. This shouldn't have much impact on their affiliate from Rockford, but you can see nothing is good there, from results to the background.
Texas Stars finally achieved overish game against Tucson Roadrunners (6-2 win away) after three underish opening games. I take it as the important fact because Texas Stars is always averaging somewhere around 6 goals per game at the end of the season. I expect that slow start just helped the odds for todays game where they will welcome IceHogs and I can't see more ideal opponent than them.
