It should be said that while Sweden got to the final deservedly and dominated the whole tournament so far (USA 3:0, Australia 4:2, New Zealand 2:0, Japan 3:1, Australia 1:0), Canada got to the final with a lot of luck. It would have been so little and Canada would not have advanced from the group stage at all - in the first match they drew 1-1 with home team Japan, but the Japanese missed a penalty. And that is what decided Canada's advance to the quarterfinals.

In the quarter-finals Canada played with Brazil, who were better, but in the end it came to penalty shootout and Canada were the lucky ones again. In the semi-finals Canada played with USA and won 1:0 thanks to a penalty. USA was again better, on shots overall they won 13:3. In the end Americans hit the crossbar. Canada has played 5 games so far in these Olympics and scored only 5 goals.

Sweden is the best team in the tournament so far and I believe they will prove it in the final and win the gold medal.

I was about to bet on Sweden too, but when I look at Canada Woman's team, I just can't figure out which way this match will go. Canada excellent in defense, not so effective in offense and they managed to kick USA out of the tournament.

Overally Sweden is still favorite here in my eyes, but Canada is dangerous and unpredictable. Good luck!
