Europa League - Group Stage
Group C of the Europa League after two rounds played is completely different from the paper expectations. Legia Warsaw are leading the group with a 100% score, Spartak are three points back in second and Leicester and Napoli, who shared the points in their 2-2 draw, are in the non-relegation places.
If Leicester don't make it through today's game in the Russian capital, their chances of making the playoffs would be drastically reduced. They are not doing so well on away pitches this season, having won only at the last Premier League team Norwich and in the League Cup at Millwall, playing in the competition below. Anyway, coach Brendan Rodgers is aware of the importance of the game and probably won't spare any of his key players. The team needs to follow up their performance from Saturday's Premier League match, in which they outshot Manchester United 4-2 at home.
Even Spartak are not fulfilling their ambitions in the Russian league (7th place), the 3-2 win in Napoli must be a warning not only for Leicester but also for the bookies. Under the circumstances, the odds on the visitors to win are unreasonably low; the more certain option seems to be on the number of goals. Which is also supported by Saturday's draw (2:2) between Spartak and Dynamo in the derby.
My bet:
Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.90 (bet365)
