Champions League - Qualification - Semi-finals
Sparta Prague will face Monaco in the third round of the Champions League and the French team is the favourite to qualify. Sparta start at home and there I think they may not be without a chance.
Sparta were quite well tuned to Monaco in the league, when they won 3:2 at home against Olomouc in the first round and won 5:0 in Liberec in the second round. Even in the preparatory matches for the league, there were scored a lot of goals (2:2 / 3:2 L / 4:1 W / 1:4 W...).
Monaco finished 3rd in the last season of the French league and conceded 42 goals in 38 games, which is quite a lot. Monaco mostly outshot their opponents, so some clean sheet didn't matter.
Now there is a new rule where goals scored away have the "same value" as goals scored at home. So that the home team doesn't have to focus mainly on the defensive part in order not to get a goal that favours the away team.
I believe this game will bring us a lot of goals.
