21.11.21 - 15:00 CET
Czech Republic: 1. Liga
The home team shortened their national break with a MOL Cup match, in which they knocked out Karvina. Coach Svedik's squad advanced through extra time and the fact that the team failed to beat Karvina twice in a row in regulation time is not entirely optimal. Despite this, Slovacko (4th) remains at the top of the FORTUNA:LIGA and the team has not tasted defeat since mid-September, when they last fell to Slavia Prague.
Sparta (3rd) also has its problems. Čelůstka and Hložek were injured before the national break, and Pesek, Sparta's best player in the current season, had a muscle injury against Estonia. The visitors are thus without three key players, which may already affect the team's performance. Sparta has lost its lightness and speed in the last few games, the return of captain Dočkal is to blame, as he slows down the game and is useless when pressed. Sparta's defence has also its weaknesses, in the last three competitive matches (league + cups) they have conceded seven goals, which is not a few. The visitors managed to beat Slovacko in the last three meetings, but this time we can expect an even match. A draw at the half or at the end of the match might not be a bad choice.
H2H:
Sparta 1:0 Slovacko (0:0)
Slovacko 1:2 Sparta (1:1)
Slovacko 0:2 Sparta (0:0)
My bet:
1st half result or match result - Draw @ 1.76
