Spezia did not surprise in the last round at AS Roma and came away with a 0:2 defeat, which kept them just two points above the relegation zone. Last year's debutant in the top league is in trouble and is also facing another defeat ahead of its clash with this year's newcomer Empoli. The visitors amazed the whole of Italy, holding on to the eighth place at the end of the last round after not losing four times in a row (3-1-0) and bringing back three points from Napoli (1-0) on Sunday. Empoli have been unreal away this season, winning five of their eight games (including those against Juventus and the aforementioned Napoli) and, for example, netting four home goals in Salerno. This does not look good for Spezia, as before the start of this round they were the worst defending team in the league with 38 goals conceded. In addition, striker Nzola, who was suspended for certain disciplinary offences, did not play in Rome and his return is not yet certain. On the other hand, striker Patrick Cutrone earned his second nomination to the starting line-up with a goal in the last round and will be looking to make a statement here.
Prediction:
Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.57 (bet365)
