Hurricanes will be a big favorite in this game. They're doing great so far, they currently have the most points of anyone. An incredible 14 wins and only 3 losses, they've only lost twice in their last 10 games. Their big strength is their good defensive play, they concede very little and overall they are playing very good hockey. Andersen should be in goal with a 93.7% success save. Last time they lost to San Jose in overtime, I believe that won't happen again against Seattle. Their big strength is their power play and shorthanded, where they are among the best.
Krakens, as I mentioned before, are a newcomer to this competition, they are one of the worst teams in the NHL so far, in 18 games they won only 5 times and lost 13 times. Although their offense can be quite effective and assert itself, their defense is incredibly bad and they are one of the teams with the most penalty minutes. In their last 10 games they won only 2 times and lost 8 times. Last time they won against Washington, but I'd like to add that Grubauver had his better day and the Capitals didn't handle the game well, I wouldn't call it a recipe for success or a major improvement.
I believe in a Carolina win. For Seattle to win, Grubauer would have to make a great play, at least like he did against Washington, which I don't expect for the second consecutive game since Seattle's defense is very weak.
My bet:
In regular time: Carolina Hurricanes @ 2.10 (bet365)
