NHL
After 5 straight losses, Seattle dropped to the second to last place in the NHL behind Arizona, who even beat them 5-4 a few days ago. They have only 9 points from 16 games with a 44:59 score. Their defense is very bad and in the last 5 games they have always conceded at least 4 goals, which is hardly enough for points.
Seattle's last 4 games:
Seattle - Chicago 2:4
Seattle - Minnesota 2:4
Seattle - Anaheim 4:7
Vegas - Seattle 4:2
Colorado, as one of the favorites for the Stanley Cup, had a slower start to the season, but has picked up in recent games and is starting to resemble Colorado team from last season. With the return of Makara, one of the best defensemen in the entire NHL, who has had a big impact on the play of the entire Colorado team, they are now on a 3 game winning streak. Against Vancouver 4-2 and 7-1 and San Jose 6-2. So far they have 15 points from 13 games with a 47:41 score.
Colorado's last 4 games:
Vancouver – Colorado 2:4
Colorado – San Jose 6:2
Colorado – Vancouver 7:1
Columbus – Colorado 4:2
Despite the injury of star McKinnon, Colorado should be able to beat the newcomer. The teams are in completely different forms, Avalanche are starting to climb up the table where they belong, and Kraken is falling down table to almost the bottom. The visitors should take advantage of the home team's poor and uncompact defence to score some goals and take home the win.
My bet:
3-Way: Colorado Avalanche @ 2.0 (bet365)
