World Cup Qualification - Europe
Before the final round, Group F is clear. Denmark have already secured direct qualification to the World Cup in the October cycle, while Scotland will go from second place to the promotion. The home side still have something to play for, with a play-off berth at stake, but they need to get at least a point, if not a win. In the current qualification, Scotland lost only two points at home (2:2, 4:0, 1:0, 3:2), but they are far from being at full strength. In particular, Nathan Patterson, the hero of Friday's win in Moldova, will be missing, as he secured a 2-0 win for the visitors with a goal and an assist. Key midfielder Scott McTominay is still battling strep throat and is unlikely to start.
Denmark won't be complete either, they are missing mainly offensive players (Hojbjerg, Jensen, Damsgaard, Dolberg, Braithwaite, Skov). Even without them the Danish team is strong, beating "their" Faroe Islands 3:1 in the prestigious derby. Coach Kasper Hjulmand gave Kazan forward Dreyer a chance for the first time in the national team and defender from Slavia Prague Bah is also in the nomination. Before the championship, he can test the other adepts of the national team in a sharp match, and it would be stylish to finish the qualification with a perfect score.
Scotland, however, have not lost 10 games in a row at home and have beaten Denmark in six of their last eight games. The visitors are the favourites, but the home side should hit the opposition's goal as well.
My bet:
Both Teams to Score - Yes @ 2.10 (bet365)
safer bet: Over 1.5 Goals @ 1.50 (bet365)
