Santa Clara are currently 16th in the league table with 10 points from 15 games. In these matches, the home team has accumulated a terrible 12:30 score, which means that they are conceding an average of 2 goals per game and scoring less than one per game. They are now in the 16th position, but they are only one point ahead of the relegation zone, but they have played one more game than opponents from bottom of table. Moreover, the home defence is the worst ever in the league, with no team in the Portuguese top league reaching 30 goals conceded.
Guimaraes are much better, in 7th place in the top half of the table with 22 points and a score of 21:15. The important fact is that the visitors are currently only two points behind the European Cup places, which is not unplayable (the season is not even halfway through yet). However, today they will face an opponent with whom they should get the obligatory three points and, most importantly, they should also improve their score.

So in this match I choose the over 2.5 goals in the match, because the last matches show that in the matches of these two teams it is absolutely great. Moreover, if I take into account the extremely poor defense of home team and the need of both teams to take three points, then it looks to me that we should see at least three goals here. If the boys bring to the pitch what they have shown in recent games, there should be no shortage of attractive attacking football and we should be able to see those three goals.
