22.10. - 20:45 CET
ITALY: Serie A
Sampdoria still remain behind expectations and the problem is mainly home form. In fact, they have not won here once in the first four occasions, while last year they won nine of their 15 overall seasonal wins here. If in the first three cases the failure was blamed on a strong opponent, in the last one it was not the case. The 3:3 draw with Udinese was certainly interesting for the unbiased fans, but less so for the home fans. Quagliarella and co. have to work hard to beat their neighbours from Spezia.

However, Thiago Motta's men turned the last round against Salernitana (2-1) and get their second win in the last five games. Seven points after eight rounds is far from a successful start to the season, but on the other hand it is only two less than Spezia had last year during their debut season. And in it, they stunned the whole of Italy by not appearing in the relegation zone at all except for one round.
Specifically, Spezia didn't lose even once against Sampdoria last year (2:1, 2:2) and given the defensive problems of both teams we could see more goals.
My bet:
Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams to Score @ 1.90 (bet365)
