Sampdoria vs. Inter Milan

Sampdoria have a hard draw at the start of the new season, having already lost home 0:1 to AC Milan and a 0:0 draw with the uncomfortable Sassuolo. So far the team can rely on defense, but the offense is not good, after 2 rounds their score is 0:1.

Against Inter it won't be easy for anyone, as they only conceded one goal in their opening 2 games. There is no problem with the finishing either, Inter Milan have already scored seven times (home 4:1 against Genoa, away 1:3 against Verona) Although stars Lukaku and Hakimi left in the summer after a successful last season, it looks like Inter managed to find good replacements on the market - Džeko, Correa, Calhanoglu and Dumfries came in.

The quality of the squad and the actual form puts Inter Milan well ahead of their opponent. That's why I'll take a win for the defending champions.

Inter are set to reverse the scoreline they experienced at Marassi last time they took on Sampdoria away, as they can breach their hosts' defence at least twice, having already established some excellent attacking rhythm. While Sampdoria can get off the mark in terms of goals, they will have to wait until at least next week's visit to Empoli for a first victory of their league campaign.

In the third round of Serie A, Sampdoria managed to win only their second, but very valuable point this season after a 2-2 draw. Simone Inzaghi's players, on the other hand, lost points for the first time.
