Serie A
Today's Italian league match will bring us the duel between last Salernitana and 7th Juventus. Juventus is now a much discussed team in the newspapers, as their club affairs have come to light, which were not correct (according to available reports) and it looks like the league won't have much fun with them, and if proven guilty, Juventus are facing relegation to Serie B.
A great feast is about to take place in the southern Italian town of Salerno. After more than 20 years, the famous Juventus arrive at the local stadium for a league match and the home fans will remember the famous 1-0 victory. However, their enthusiasm is spoiled by the fact that their team is currently in last place with only eight points and the incredibly high ticket prices, which the club has raised to dizzying heights just for this occasion.
Juventus are out of form and not where they want to be in the table. Out of the last 5 league games, they won 2 times (Lazio, Fiorentina) but lost 3 times (Atalanta, Verona, Sassuolo). Juventus are running away with the top of the table and if they want to play the Champions League next year they have a lot to do because the Italian league has really improved and the top 4-5 teams are really strong (Napoli, AC Milan, Inter Atalanta , AS Rome) and now we have to add Lazio and Juventus. Juve need points and they don't even need to spare any players as they are assured of progression in the Champions League from the group stage, so I expect a full strength line-up.
I give a handicap because of the terrible home defence, where they cocneded 29 goals in 14 games and this could mean for the quality of Juve's attack that they catch their goal scorers, who are not showing much this year and so Dybala and Bonucci are the best scorers thanks to penalties.
My bet:
Asian Handicap: Juventus -1.5 @ 2.02 (bet365)
