Europa Conference League - Qualification - Semi-finals
Kazan are currently one of the top five clubs in the Russian Premier League, which is a completely different level of quality compared to the Polish league.
After three league rounds they are 100 percent and that includes a win against Spartak Moscow in the first round.
Last year they finished fourth in the table and only missed the EL group by three points.
Rakow started the season by winning the Super Cup, beating Legia after penalty shootout after a 1:1 draw. They then faced the quarter-finals of the Europa Conference League, where they faced Lithuanian Suduva. Both games ended 0:0 in 90 minutes, so the second game went to extra time, where the home side advanced again only after a penalty shootout. They have 6 points in the league after three rounds, after an away win 2:3 against Piast in the first round and a 0:3 loss to Jagiellonia in the second round. They played the third round on Sunday and beat Wisla Krakow 2:1 at home.
For me, Russian team is definitely the favourite in their home stadium.
