The most shocking result in Wednesday's inserted round was undoubtedly Reims, who managed to win 2-1 at Lyon even without head coach Garcia (positive test for covid). Belgian stopper Wout Faes did a great job, opening the scoring after a centre and a subsequent header from a corner kick. The winning goal was then scored by substitute Ekitike in stoppage time to confirm his solid six-goal run. Reims are also hoping for a third win in a row against Angers. Their last home game against Monaco (1:3) was a complete failure, where, especially in the first half, the defence of the West-French team paid for its not very good speed and cashed in twice after basically indifferent situations.
Both teams have a similar score (Reims 4-7-5, Angers 5-7-4) and are the current kings of the competition. In particular, the visitors have recorded a draw in 6 of the 8 away games played this season. A draw is very likely this time as well, expect a balanced game from both teams, full of battles and great commitment. As far as mutual matches are concerned, 5 out of 8 matches in the French top league have ended in a draw between the two teams.
My bet:
Draw @ 3.10 (bet365)
safer bet: 1st half result or match result - Draw @ 1.59
