LaLiga

Real Sociedad are having a fantastic season so far, after 13 rounds they are at the top of the table with 28 points. The teams below them have a game to play, yet San Sebastian can be very happy with the start of the season and could be in contention for the Champions League this season. They have lost only one of their 13 games, and currently hold a 16 game unbeaten streak in all competitions. Their last league win was 2-0 at Osasuna, before that they drew 1-1 at home to Bilbao and won 2-0 at Celta Vigo. Sociedad is 4-2-0 at home in the league. In recent games, this team has had to deal with a lot of injury players, yet they have managed to get excellent results. Now their injury list is emptying out, and that is reason to believe that we will see a lot of positive results from them. The return of striker Oyarzabal is the most wanted, if he is able to start, the chances of winning against Valencia would increase even more.

Valencia are in the middle of the table, in 10th place with 17 points. Their results have been on a rollercoaster lately. They drew 2-2 at home to Mallorca, then lost 1-4 at Betis, beat Villarreal 2-0 at home and drew 3-3 with Atlético Madrid. Valencia has a 1-2-3 away score this season, losing three of their last four away games. In the match against Villarreal, Valencia's stopper Gabriel Paulista was injured, which could be quite a noticeable loss, as he had been a solid part of the defence until then. Without him, they conceded three goals against Atlético. Furthermore, defensive shield Guillamon will be missing due to yellow cards, and the team will surely miss him as well.

Real Sociedad has been riding a wave of excellent results so far this season and I believe they are capable of continuing that, especially with some key players returning from injury. Valencia, on the other hand, have been in a very fluctuating form and I would be surprised if they could win anything at the table leader's ground.

My bet:
Asian Handicap: Real Sociedad -1.0 @ 2.07 (bet365)
