The 17th round of LaLiga on Sunday will conclude with the big Madrid derby. The favourite is the home team Real. The explanation is simple.

Ancelotti's side have won nine competitive matches in a row. In the last three they have always kept a clean sheet (Bilbao 1-0, Real Sociedad 2-0, Inter Milan 2-0). Real lead the league (eight points ahead of Sevilla) and won their Champions League group. Thanks mainly to the strikers of Benzema (12) and Vinícius (10), it has the most success attack in league (37). His city rival is not in such impressive form at the moment. The reigning champions are fourth in the table and ten points behind Real. A week ago they surprisingly lost 1-2 at home to Mallorca. In their Champions League group, they also earned promotion, but only seven points (2-1-3) in six games against Liverpool, Porto and AC Milan. Moreover, they have a very poor record in the Madrid derby recently. They have not won any of their previous seven games against Real (0-3-4).

Considering all of the above, I trust the home team more in Sunday's game.

This could be the easiest title for Real Madrid in years... last dominant title win was season 11-12 when they won the league by 9 points (having 100 points!) ahead of Barcelona.

I'm curious who will end up 2nd this year, it won't be Barca let's assume Atlético still my favorite for the 2nd place.
