Leipzig is in 11th place in the table and has the same number of points as 13. Monchengladbach, but the score is much better (25:18 vs. 18:24). This is mainly because of Monchengladbach's last two games, which went grossly wrong and they lost them by a big difference - in their last game they lost 0:6 at home to Freiburg (when they concede all goals in the 1st half) and before that they lost away at Cologne 4:1. The previous games then they played pretty decent.
Leipzig is well below expectations, losing a lot of points, but their gameplay is not that bad. In their last game they beat Manchester City 2-1 at home in the Champions League, before that they lost 2-1 at Union Berlin and before that they lost 1-3 at home to Leverkusen. Before that, they beat FC Brugge 5-0 away in the Champions League.
Leipzig has won 5 of the last 7 matches between these two teams, the last match was 3:2 at home (27.02.21).
I believe that Leipzig will go up the table and start winning in this game and this could be helped by the last game with win over Man City and the actual very poor form of Monchengladbach.
