Europa League - Qualification - Final
Rapid Vienna faced Anorthosis from Cyprus in the first qualifying round of the Europa League. Rapid dominated the first match. They created one chance after another and managed to turn three of them into goals. In the end, they was happy with the 3:0 win, it was well deserved. Even though the Austrian team lost 2:1 away, it was enough for them to advance.
So far this season Zorya is not playing as their fans would like. Despite the fact that the Ukrainian league is not a very high quality, Zorya managed to win only once from the first four league rounds, and only against Inhulets, who are one of the weakest teams in the Ukrainian league. Zorya didn't perform too well in the last league round either, in which they only drew 1:1 with a weak Minaj at home. The match was very even and the 1:1 result for both teams was well deserved.
I trust the home Austrian team, where the home atmosphere will play a big role, the roster and if they are thinking about the main stage, they know they have to take a win from the first match, because the results suggest that they are not doing well on the opponent's field.
