Emma Raducanu's sensational run at this year's US Open has come to a triumphant end. The 18-year-old British tennis player defeated Canadian Leylah Fernandez, a year older than her, 6-4, 6-3 in the Emerging Stars final on Saturday and did not lose a set in her tenth match at Flushing Meadows. The 150th player of the world, who is about to jump to the 23rd place in the WTA ranking after her triumph in life, had to fight in the qualification round to take part in the last Grand Slam of the season and became the first tennis player in history to achieve such a feat.
