NETHERLANDS: Eredivisie - Round 5
PSV has impressed in the new season with their results and especially with their great offensive football. They seem to have come to terms with the departures of key players - Malen, Dumfries and Rosario. In the league they have twelve points from four games with a score of 14:3.
The chase for the Champions League started with a great progression through Galatasaray (7:2) and Midtjylland (4:0). In the last round, they missed a goal to qualify for Champions League (1:2 lost to Benfica). This condemned them to the Europa League group stage. They started with a draw against the strong Spanish club Real Sociedad (2:2).
The strikers Zahavi and Gakpo are playing in great form, and in midfield van Ginkel. Götze has started their careers here again.
Feyenoord have played only three games in the league so far, in which they have scored half as many goals as their opponent (7). They managed to get three points in their first two games - 4:0 Willem II and 2:0 G.A. Eagles. Their last league game at Utrecht they failed to win and lost 1:3.
After that, they have a break of almost a 14 days, after which they played against Maccabi Haifi in the Conference League and after the match they settled for a 0-0 draw. They made it to the Conference League after wins against Lucerne (6:0) and Elfsborg (6:3).
PSV is an offensive-minded team that has already played 12 games this season with a score of one loss to Benfica, two draws and nine wins. And apart from two games, they have always managed to score at least two goals.
