SCOTLAND: Premiership
Unusually, I was intrigued by the Celtic game, who lost their reign in the Scottish Premiership to eternal rivals Rangers last year. So in this match against Hearts in a key league game, I'll play my bet on the home side to win and we should see 2.5+ goals.
Heart of Midlothian have had a good start to the league, which they last won in the 50s, and go into this game after a 2-0 home win over St Mirren at the weekend. For a change, Ange Postecolglou's players won narrowly at home 2-1 against Aberdeen in their last league game.
Interestingly, they met in the first round and Hearts beat Celtic 2-1 at home.
The home coach will be pleased to see the return of two injured players, Nir Bitton and Tom Rogic, who are ready after their injuries. However, midfielder Tom Rogic has recovered from his hamstring problem, but I doubt he will be in the starting 11 right away. For example Jullien, Dembele or Starfelt are still out.
Overall, I believe it will be an even battle between the two chasing Rangers in the title fight, but Celtic have the best defence in the league at the moment, conceding only 10 goals in 14 games. They also have the best collective attack in the league with 32 goals, the same as the league leading Rangers. In contrast, Hearts have a solid defence overall and are conceding an average of one goal a game, but I still believe both will score here, but Celtic will do well overall.
My predictions: Celtic to win and Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.78 / Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams to Score @ 1.95 (bet365)
