The newcomer from Watford made his last league appearance on 10 December at Brentford, where they lost 1-2 and notched up his fourth Premier League defeat in a row. Impressively, Italian coach Ranieri's players have managed to score in each of their last five league appearances, but it has only resulted in points once. Watford would clearly benefit from being able to score first in this competition, as they have won three times and lost only once this season. Unfortunately, as you rightly reckon, they have only managed to do so four times, and with such a score, it will be very difficult to save. Even the 601st Premier League game of coach David Moyes did not bring success to the Hammers, as after losing at Arsenal (15.12.) 0:2 they failed to beat Southampton at home (2:3) and are slowly leaving the cup positions. West Ham have at least after two league games in a row made a goal scoring breakthrough, but their current score (1-2-4) does not look good at all. However, in a clash with a newcomer that have serious defensive problems, that could break. Moreover, Tomas Soucek and co. are very strong in the final half hour of the game, when the opponents are running out of energy, in which they scored seven more goals than they got themselves (17:10).
