A second home game in quick succession will come in handy for Leeds. Marcelo Bielsa's charges have kept two clean sheets in a row and last time out here they beat Crystal Palace when Raphinha converted a key injury-time penalty. Leeds are still a long way off their results from last year, but two wins in the last five rounds does look more encouraging. So the next home game against newcomer to the competition Brentford, who have started very well this season (like Leeds last year) will be extremely important and Leeds have the opportunity to sell their experience.
Their last defeat was 0:2 at Tottenham Stadium, but they still have one point more than Leeds. However, their form has been on a downward trend and they have suffered five losses (1-1-5) in their last seven league games. Although Brentford surprised a couple of times in their opening away games, as time progresses they will rather return to their classic performances in the sense that they are traditionally strong at home stadium, which they proved for example in last year's promotion season.
These two teams have played a number of matches in the second league in recent years and three of the previous four at this stadium were won by the home team Leeds.
Prediction:
Leeds @ 1.85 (bet365)
