In the 9th round of the Premier League, Crystal Palace will welcome Newcastle and I'll play a home win here.
Crystal are 14th in the table with 8 points after 8 games. Crystal's play under new manager Patrick Viera, who joined the team before this season, impresses me. A nice change after years of just defending since old man Hodgson was their manager. The last time Crystal lost a win at Arsenal was in the 95th minute which may shake the team up a bit mentally.
Newcastle are currently second to last in the table with just 3 points and manager Steve Bruce sacked. The team will be led by an assistant. In addition, there is not a good atmosphere in the team with alleged conflicts between players in the cabin. Newcastle were bought by the Saudis and so are currently the richest team in the world, but it will take a while to find a new manager and build a competitive team.
Crystal Palace has impressed me far better this season and Newcastle at home is the perfect opponent to win for the second time this season. Crystal have drawn 5 times and lost 3 times and it has to be said that the defeats came from Chelsea (0:3) and Liverpool (0:3). They beat Tottenham (3:0) and drew with Leicester (2:2) and Arsenal (2:2). Now it's the turn of a weaker opponent and here I believe Crystal will win.
