The clash between Brighton and Wolverhampton looks at first view like an ideal match for those who like to bet on goalless draws. The visitors have failed to score four times in a row and have scored just 12 goals in 16 rounds this season. The home side are only marginally better - they have scored 14 goals, but have not scored more than one in any of their last five games (three in total). Brighton haven't won since the second half of September (10 games in the league) and are slowly starting to slip to the bottom of the table. The visitors have a point more, but their current goal scoring misery has taken them out of immediate reach of the cup positions. But last year very interesting things happened in these mutual measurements of power. In total, nine goals were scored, with Brighton making up for a 1:3 loss at home (3:3) and Wolves snatching a 2:1 win in their second mutual match in the season with two goals in the final 15 minutes. The home side still have a large injury list but goalscorer Neal Maupay is ready and, more importantly, in good form. On the other side, Raul Jimenéz will be missing, but four-goal Hee-Chan Hwang should start. With any luck, we'll see some goals here, at a nice odds.
My prediction: Over 2.0 Goals @ 1.98 (bet365)
