Europe: World Cup Qualification
The National Stadium in Warsaw promises a hell of an atmosphere on Monday, as Poles and Hungarians will meet in the stands, and the fans of both countries are among the wildest in Europe. However, the home side are the favourites, as they are second in Group I behind the leaders England. They are three points behind the first team in the table, but team's form is not bad. Lewandowski and co. have won five of their last six matches and shared the points once, with England drawing 1-1 at home. It was the only point loss at home stadium in qualification, because the team plays offensively in front of its fans and rarely settles for a one-goal victory. The strength of the Polish nomination is enhanced by the fact that there is not a single player from the local league in the squad, with the huge majority of the national team playing in England, Germany, Italy, France or the big Greek clubs. The Hungarians are far from having that quality, and they lack form compared to their opponents. In the last ten matches, team has won only twice, with a sweaty win over Andorra (2:1) and a convincing victory over San Marino (4:0).
My bet:
Poland to win @ 1.61 (bet365)
