Tampa Bay lives in a hard reality. Without the injured Nikita Kucherov, it's not so good on the power play, and when playing five-on-five it's a disaster. Yesterday's 1:5 loss in Buffalo must sound like an alarm siren, but Tampa's previous games have not gone well either. After six games, Tampa don't have a regulation time win. Now they face Pittsburgh, which is the opposite of how a team should play in a tough situation. To recap: in the last game, Crosby, Malkin, Letang, Carter and Rust did not play for the Penguins and yet the team beat Toronto 7-1. This team just has a healthy confidence and even though the lineup is full of unknown names, it doesn't matter. The team is trusting. Tampa, of course, has been slapped in the face and realizes that today's opponent is way ahead of them in work rate. Something should change.
A home stadium and extended rest plays to the Penguins here and since Tampa is out of form, I'm taking this odds with all ten.
