Philadelphia is a pretty popular opponent for Tampa Bay and the Lightning have won 8 times in their last 10 games together and despite the fact that they haven't met on the ice in over a year, I'm leaning towards TBL again.
Both teams so far in the table +- the same, Tampa Bay had a terrible start and now they are getting into form. They have won "only" 3 times out of the last 5 games, but it definitely has to be said that they have tested the teams with the current best form and position in the table and they have been very evenly matched.
The downside is that Tampa gets penalty quite often, fortunately Philadelphia doesn't have a good power play score. One of the best goalkeepers in NHL, maybe even the best one, Vasilevski, will be in goal. He also had a weaker start, but you can see that he has been able to catch on and is performing great, his success rate is 92.39%.
Philadelphia Flyers are more like an average NHL team in all aspects, the quality of the team is definitely weaker than their opponents and even though their form is basically similar to Tampa's, I feel that they are stuck in a shooting. In the last 5 games in regulation time they have scored only 7 goals, while Lightning have scored 13. The home side will be guarded by Carter Hart, a young goalkeeper who hasn't done badly at all so far this season with a 93.47% success rate.
I believe that the game for Tampa will be far from the easiest, but the quality of the team, mutual games are definitely on our side and the odds for Tampa to win are worth a try.
My bet:
Tampa Bay Lightning to decision @ 2.10 (bet365)
