Palmeiras x Atletico Mineiro
The big game that everyone will be watching today here in brazil. This is the second leg of quarter finals of libertadores, first leg ended 2-2 after 2 late goals from palmeiras in Mineirao. This game will be played in allianz arena, home of palmeiras, and as always sold out crowd. This are 2 of the 3 best teams in south america, and probably who wins here will make it to the finals. Both squads are extremmely high level, palmeiras main players beeing Dudu, Scarpa (who is sold to notthingham forest) and Veiga, and atletico mineiro beeing Hulk, Zaracho and nacho fernandez. This is a difficult game to predict, but palmeiras really just have been on an extremelly good form, libertadores is the main focus of the team, and given the home field advantage i think its the right way to go. The fact that is a draw worries me a little that could be an under goals game, but i dont think palmeiras wants to go to penalties and are going to make an effort to seal the deal full time.
