Here is the game when the Ottawa Senators welcome the Washington Capitals to the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa. In this game I believe in a win for the visiting Washington team.
Ottawa Senators is 15th place in the Eastern Conference, 4 points with a score of 10:12
Washington Capitals is 5th place in the Eastern Conference, 8 points with a score of 19:11
Ottawa's last games:
Ottawa - Rangers 2:3
Ottawa - San Jose 1:2
Ottawa - Dallas 3:2
Toronto - Ottawa 3:1
Ottawa - Toronto 3:2
Ottawa is not doing well this season, when they are in 15th place. Ottawa has played 5 games this season, winning only two, but they have been low scoring and close games, and most of them by only a goal. In Ottawa, Brown Connor has 4 points, Tyler Ennis has 3 points and Chris Tierney has 3 points this season. This productivity of the players is also linked to the fact that not many goals are falling in Ottawa's games so far. I believe that Ottawa could move higher this year than last season, but they will not be picking up points now, as Washington comes to Ottawa and they are a top team and Ottawa will have a very tough time at home.
Washington's last games:
Washington - Calgary 3:4 (after overtime)
New Jersey - Washington 1:4
Washington - Colorado 6:3
Washington - Tampa 1:2 (after overtime)
Washington - Rangers 5:1
Washington has won 3 of their last 5 games and has 8 points and is only 2 points behind 1st place Florida. Washington lost their last game against Calgary in overtime and will now look to fix that and win in Ottawa. Washington certainly has the team to do it, as Dmitri Orlov already has 3 points on defense, Trevor Riemsdyk has 3 points, and the great John Carlson is also playing great. Next, when we look at the offense, we see a great offensive strength with players like Evgeny Kuznetsov who has scored 9 points this year, Anthony Mantha 3 points, Tom Wilson 6 points, T.J. Oshie who has 2 points so far but is a great player and also Alexander Ovechkin 10 points. Ottawa will be hard pressed to find answers to this offensive force.
So here I believe in a win for the visiting Washington team.
My bet:
To Decision: Washington Capitals @ 1.62 (bet365)
