Vancouver had been stifling its scoring potential, but it reminded everyone of it again in the last game against Dallas. For the first time in six games, the Canucks scored more than two goals as they beat Dallas 6-3. Meanwhile, this team has an offense full of effective players like Petterson, Boeser, Miller and Hughes, who have put together a great show the last two seasons, especially on the power play. Now Anaheim comes to Orcas Bay, which has no problem with productivity and has scored at least three goals in its last eight games. Last season they were clearly the worst team up front, but they brought in a new coach on the power play in Geoff Ward. His presence, combined with the fact that certain players like Terry and Drysdale have made developmental leaps, are working wonders and the Ducks are a bargain up front. The power play is hitting 27 percent (3rd best in NHL) and averaging 3.23 goals (10th best). All of that combined should be enough to score at least six goals in this game.
H2H:
Vancouver 1:5 Anaheim
Anaheim 1:1 Vancouver (2:1)
Vancouver 4:5 Anaheim
Vancouver 4:0 Anaheim
My bet:
Over 5.5 Goals @ 1.85 (bet365)
