Florida has 23 points after 15 games and is currently the best team in NHL with a 56-41 score. They are the third best team in goal scoring. After their initial success of one loss in eleven games, they have stumbled a bit and are currently on a four-game losing streak. Islanders are coming to them, the perfect opponent to catch them again. The first two lines have been great and Sergei Bobrovsky, one of the best and most experienced goalkeepers in NHL with a 94% success rate, is definitely an asset and will play tonight. Panthers are one of those teams that is unrecognizable at home from away games, while they didn't bring home many points from their last outings, they have managed all the games at home. They also have four injured players, but nobody important. I believe they won't lose for the fifth time in a row.
New York Islanders don't have to go far after their last game against Tampa, but it has to be said that they played a very tough game in Tampa, perhaps their most heated game to date. Islanders absolutely did not handle this game, there was a lot of indiscipline. New York Islanders are 14th in the Eastern Conference with 12 points and a 28-33 score. They have five wins and seven losses. All their games have been played on their opponents' ice. They haven't played at home yet (they're rebuilding their stadium). They lost their last three games, 0:4 against New Jersey, 2:5 against Minnesota and 1:4 against Tampa tonight.
Florida haven't lost at home yet, they are playing better hockey at the moment, New York Islanders are already on too long of a run and the last tough game against Tampa will affect them. They have already played together once this season. The last time they played each other, Florida won 5-1.
