In this game we will see a battle of two very unbalanced teams in the table, where I think the home team Dallas is the favourite

Dallas is 12th in the Western Conference with 30 points and a 75-81 score. Some may say their form is terrible. Yes, they have lost 4 of their last 5 games and their performance has not been good at all, but there is one big paradox here, and that is that Dallas can play mainly on home ice and they are not very good away. In their last game, they played a very good game against Chicago, which they beat in overtime. Where they were the better team, even in the game with St. Louis, with whom they played a very close game (where they played at home), but they lost unluckily. Dallas is in a perfect 5th place in home games stats with 10 wins and 4 losses in 14 home games. Now they are facing a tougher opponent, but I still think they will keep the 2 points at home.

Minnesota is in 1st place in the Western Conference with 40 points and a score of 108-85. Minnesota is certainly one of the biggest surprises of this season, they are playing great hockey, but mainly at home, and they are not in good form at the moment, where they lost their last 3 games, which is why I believe more in Dallas.

The mutual matches are very evenly matched, but in my case the most important factor is form and Dallas has great form at home.

These are my main aspects of why I chose Dallas, but I still prefer the safer bet of DNB.

Dallas had a very emotional moment in their last game against Chicago. In the opener, forward Tanner Kero was injured in a horrific collision with an opposing player. He fell unconscious, lay motionless on the ice for several minutes and had to be taken away on a stretcher. Stars were able to win the game in overtime, snapping a five-game losing streak. Moments like this bring the team together. Kero is a respected and well-liked teammate who does what he's told and works hard. The win over Blackhawks was the start of something new for him and could be the start of something new. Sometimes even a thing like this can remind players that there are more important things than hockey.

Tonight's opponent from Minnesota would need a kick too (though certainly not in this way). Despite still leading the West Division, they've lost three games in a row. And in embarrassing way. Wild got at least a point against Buffalo, but in their own words, they didn't even deserve it. The blame lies on poor quality training, which they have had minimal of late due to various covid-related measures. Travel is currently a hindrance and Wild will be playing the fifth of their last six away games. They could use more practice.

All in all, Dallas who currently ended a protracted losing streak should ride the wave of team bonding for a while longer and for a friend who was released to home treatment, they should grab their second win in a row.
