Arizona, the worst team in the league so far, managed to get only 6 points in 17 games and are the team with the worst offense and the worst defense. Sometimes even the worst teams can surprise their opponents and win, but for tonight I'm not counting on it. Their score is 30:67, I think that says it all. They're bad at getting into the offensive zone and when they get there they absolutely can't hold it, then just in the context of that the defense collapses because they can't hold on that long under pressure. The team will be missing a lot of players, with Fischer, Hutton, Jashkin, Ladd, Larrson, Schmaltz, Timmins and Stralman listed as question marks. Maybe a good question is, it probably won't be beneficial to them that some of that dysfunctional team won't play and will be replaced by players from farm fighting for a spot, much I wouldn't count on it.
Detroit Red Wings are finally on the rise, holding 9th place in the Eastern Conference, their score is a more decent 53:65 and they have 18 points after 19 games. Red Wings have drafted two great young rookies this year, Raymond, who at 19 years old leads the team in scoring and is tied for 14th overall, and then Seider.
Even though both teams have only one win in their last 5 games, you can definitely see more quality on Detroit's side. The visitors should be able to do it, especially against the weakened Coyotes.
My prediction: Detroit Red Wings (in regular time) @ 2.10 (bet365)
