After 24 games, NY Rangers are in 4th place in the Eastern Conference with 37 points and a score of 74:59 / 31:23 at home. I like Rangers a lot so far this season and they have caught a really great form lately, winning 11 out of the last 12 games, 10 of them in regulation time and only once they lost 2:1 on Toronto ice, which is not a bad result at all. In the last game Rangers won on Chicago ice 6:2. Rangers are playing great at home and won last 8 home games, 7 of them in regulation time.
Colorado is in 8th place in the Western Conference after 22 games with 28 points and a score of 92:76 / 45:48 away. As the score suggests, Colorado is not doing well in away games and a few days ago they even lost to the tragic Ottawa 6:5 after overtime. In the last game Colorado won 7:5 away but conceding 5 goals from struggling Philadelphia seems to me quite a lot and if Colorado's defense is on fire in this game I think they will have a hard time. A week ago they even lost 8:3 to Toronto.
Form on Rangers side + home advantage will be the deciding factor for me and I definitely don't see Rangers as the outsiders in this game.
