NHL
NY Islanders have played 16 games with 12 points and are 14th with a score of 31:47. Only 32 goals scored makes the Islanders the worst scoring team in the entire NHL. They have lost their last 7 games in a row by a minimum of 3 goals or more! They've played games against NY Rangers, Toronto and Calgary in the new arena, but it didn't bring any improvement, the 3:12 score is certainly not what they were hoping for from new arena. They have a lot of players on the Covid list and it's showing in the last few games.
Missing: Bailey, Bellows, Chára, Greene, Johnston, Lee, Nelson, Pelech, Pulock
Pittsburgh entered the new season very poorly. In the first 15 games, they have only 5 wins and 10 losses. The team was missing Malkin and Crosby, the latter is already fit and slowly starting to play and with him the whole team. They won their last 4 games in a row, beating Vancouver 4-1, Winnipeg 3-1, Toronto 2-0, Montreal 6-0. All the aforementioned games the Penguins won on shots, even against Toronto, for whom it was the only defeat in the last 8 games.
Missing: Malkin
Pittsburgh has started to show great performances in recent games and should be able to beat a team decimated by Covid and totally out of form.
