I believe that visiting Vegas will beat the home team New Jersey.
New Jersey has played 27 games with 25 points and a score of 75:92 and is 12th in the Eastern Conference. In their last 10 games, they have only notched 2 wins over Philadelphia, who at the time were pulling 10 straight losses. They also came defeats from below average teams like Islanders, Ottawa which have much lesser performance than their opponent today. New Jersey have one of the worst defenses in the league, conceding 3.4 goals per game, their offense isn't much better, scoring 2.77 goals per game and are one of the worst in NHL. They have some important players on the injury list.
Missing: Bernier, Graves, Hischier, Jaroš, Thomson, Wood, Sharangovich
Vegas has played 28 games and scored 34 points with a score of 99:86 and is in 7th place in the Western Conference. After an embarrassing start to the season, it's the same old Vegas we know. They have most of their players back from injury and it shows. They are in good form, winning 5 out of their last 6 games in regular time, beating teams like Minnesota 6-4, Dallas 5-4, Calgary 3-2, Boston 4-1 and Arizona 7-1, with only the 3-4 loss to Philadelphia.
Missing: Eichel, Patrick, Martinez
The quality and form is on the side of the guests from Vegas, if they build on their performance from the last winning games, they should take two points tonight.
My bet:
3-Way: Vegas Golden Knights @ 1.86 (bet365)
